Colin’s idea for this Lasting Legacy Artist Project is based on his love of photographing children. He enjoys showcasing their individuality and capturing their true personalities. This project was born out of his belief that portraiture helps boost a child’s self-esteem and sense of importance.

When he originally set out to do this project he had the concept of photographing children in mind but was unsure of the finished result. As often happens with artistic endeavors, the vision and inspiration evolve along the way, leading you to something more beautiful than you originally imagined.

After networking with other professional photographers and artists; seeing some textural work of one of his dear friends, he created this beautiful textured watercolor finish. The textural overlays create beautiful depth, dimension and artistic flare.
